If finals got you down, stop worrying about them. Do the best you can do, and leave the rest to history.

If you know looking at grades is going to make you upset or discourage you from finishing, don’t look at them. Wait until the very end. Don’t log in, don’t check that report card. The last thing you need to do is screw up on future finals because of emotional distress over something that you can’t change.

You can’t look back, you can’t regret what you did, because chances are if given a second chance you would do things the same exact way and study the same exact thing. Don’t think to yourself “one more question, if I got one more question I would have gotten half a grade higher” or “dang I changed it from the right answer to the wrong answer” because while you were in that test room, you believed in every answer you put and when you changed that one answer you believed you would get it right. What has happened, happened. If a time-machine existed, believe me, I would be the first to use it. But they don’t. Time moves only forward, stop trying to move backwards.

Law school, medical school, pharm school, graduate school, whatever professional school. They will see you for who you are, not for that one single bad grade you got in that one specific class that one semester of that one year that is in size ten font on one corner of your transcript. So stop stressing yourself out because stress isn’t going to help anything. Ten years from now it won’t matter what grade you made in a class, what will matter is what you learned from it and the memories you built along the way.

You are more than a grade. Treat yourself well.

So, this is how I looked today. I got so many “why are you dressed up” “why do you look cute” etcetc. Which makes me wonder how bummy and bad must I look/dress if I was just dressed only casually today?! ;__; I haven’t even worn my swishy sweatpants to school this semester! Accomplishment.

On another note, I took my ochem lab final. The good news, I’m done with ochem lab!!!! 5ever!!! (hopefully, knock on wood) Bad news, I probably failed that quite terribly.

I have an ochem exam tomorrow, and I was getting really frustrated because I’m having a really hard time grasping a certain reaction/mechanism. Anyways, someone was knocking on the front door, and I figured it was for my roommate because she’s been having a lot of visitors lately. Little did I know it was a flower delivery guy for me! I never get deliveries nor flowers!!! Hehe this was a great ochem pick me up because look, IT’S A DOG!! THE FLOWERS MAKE A DOG! It even has a bow on it!!!! :) Sorry, I had to share because I just thought it was so cute. Anyways, back to trucking on ochem…cries.
